The use of retinoic acid obtained from vitamin A allows cancer cells to become normal cells. The drug has been discovered at the University of Shanghai and prepared by a French laboratory. Dr. Laurent Degos and his collaborators tested him at the Saint-Louis Hospital in Paris. For 90 days, twenty-six patients with retinoic acid leukemia have been tested. Fourteen patients have completely cured damaged cells, another four have not completely cured, three have died and another continues in the first.
Looking under a microscope, damaged cells are transformed into normal cells. These results have opened a new way to fight cancer.
