Teknopolis: renewed on the Internet

Teknopolis launches its new website: teknopolis.elhuyar.org. In the new website, the user will be able to find all the programs issued from October 2007, either entirely or through reports. In addition to providing information, the new website will have the opportunity to send our health questions, to which the Teknopolis team will try to answer weekly in the program itself.

The website of Teknopolis has sections of the television program: Reports, Interviews, In two words, Spectacular World, Pills, Sanitary and Monographic Questions. In this way, the user, besides being able to view or download the complete programs, can see or download the contents that are issued in each section. In addition, you can search for content by topics. In addition, the web will be able to consult the advance of the program of the next week.

The program is broadcast weekly on the three ETB channels on Wednesdays at 21:30 ETB3, on Sundays at 11:15 ETB2 and at 8:00 ETB1. And from now on, science lovers, in case they lack their appointment with ETB, will also be able to enjoy the program on the internet. In addition to the web, Teknopolis has another novelty in this season: the program that until now was broadcast for six months a year will be extended for nine months in this season, so between October and July will be available weekly.

Teknopolis is a television program sponsored by: Department of Industry, Trade and Tourism of the Basque Government, Department of Education, Universities and Research of the Basque Government, University of the Basque Country and Mondragon Unibertsitatea.

The Elhuyar Foundation began in 1999 the production of this television program on science and technology. During these years Teknopolis has had an appointment with the scientific public in the ETB chains.

Ten years without wasting and throughout these years Teknopolis has received the following awards: 2006 III Tecnalia. Accésit at the Journalism Prize; that same year he was awarded by the Department of Innovation of the Bizkaia Provincial Council; in the same year 2006 the team of journalists of Elhuyar Zientzia Komunikazioa received the Rikardo Arrangi Journalism award; and in 2002 he received the Robotiker Prize.
