Although with two months of delay, they finally launched the Columbus module to the International Space Station. It took place on February 7 and reached the ISS two days later. The coupling and commissioning work were done correctly, so by February 19 all the laboratories and devices in the module were ready to work. Columbus is ready to experiment in biosciences, fluid sciences, technology, telecommunications, etc. It is the largest contribution of the European Space Agency to the ISS.
