Challenge: When the soup is too hot and we are in a hurry, we almost always burn the tongue. It is enough! To prevent it from happening next time we will try the different cooling techniques of the soup and, of course, look for the fastest.
Notes for teachers: There are many techniques to cool the soup: blowing, removing, pulling liquid, waiting… With a simple investigation we can know what is the most effective method. In any case, do not forget, in addition to identifying the best technique, discuss the WHY of it and identify ideas to continue researching.
