Ultrasound to explore the path of blood

An ultrasound device has been invented for the study of clogged arteries. This device, a millimeter in diameter, is able to give
3D images wrapped in blood vessels.

To do this, it carries 64 transducers that emit sound waves and report on the tissue they emit. This information appears on a screen that lets doctors know where and to what extent an artery is blocked.
