The University of Cornell has just presented a nanofibra that emits orange light. It is a very fine nanofibra, of 200 thick nanometers, which basically works like a bulb and is one of the smallest tools that can be used to emit light.
The basic components of nanofibra are ruthenium metal and polymer polyethylene oxide. Both components are mixed with the technique known as Electrospinning, a technique that seems simple compared to other general production techniques of nanotrads.
