Researchers from American agriculture have invented a system to whiten oranges in a few seconds.

Researchers from American agriculture have invented a system to whiten oranges in a few seconds. Oranges are kept in a solution that contains enzymes called pectinases before sale.

These enzymes soften the white skin pectin (viscous substance) that contains the citrus parts. The oranges are easily peeled and saved at least two minutes per fruit.
