Cats 9.500 years next to man

They have found a footprint that shows that the wild ancestors of the domestic cat were converted at least 9,500 years ago.

A town in the Upper Neolithic of Cyprus discovers in the tomb of a young man, just half a meter away, the complete bone of a cat, a trace that shows that the wild ancestors of the cat became at least 9,500 years ago. The cat has no indication of sacrifice, and the fact of having been buried together shows that man wanted to be an animal in the next life.

So far it has been believed that cats were domesticated by the Egyptians, 6,000 years later.
