Internet information has tripled in three years

According to the results of a study by researchers at the University of Berkeley, more and more information is available.

What has grown the most is the information collected on the Internet. In fact, in the year 2000 there were 20-50 terabytes and in the summer of 2003 167 terabytes. Therefore, in the last three years, it has tripled. For the computation only fixed web pages have been taken into account.

However, the information collected on all types of media has grown to reach the five million exabytes (five million terabytes): in books and printed paper, in the film, in the phones and especially in the hard disks of the computers.
