Higher energy light beam

The most powerful light beam ever obtained has a wavelength of 385 nanometers and is 1,000 times smaller than the previous record, that is, a thousand times more energy. They have achieved this in the United States, in the Argonne National Laboratory, using the free electron laser. Therefore, from now on, a laser of these characteristics can be used to analyze the structure and characteristics of the materials with greater precision and less time than the current techniques.
