Two other exoplanets

Turning around the star Gliese 876, 15 light years after Earth, have discovered another exoplanet, already known. And considering its size, which is 7.5 times larger than the Earth, they believe it is a planet of earth, a planet of rock. The observation has been adjusted with the new Keck telescopes in Hawaii.

In addition, they have detected an exoplanet in a three-star system. The planet has its orbit around the main star and the most surprising thing is that it is very close to it. Jupiter in size, Mercury is closer to the star than to the Sun. This data questions astronomers' ideas about the orbits of planets. In a three-star system, a planet should be influenced by three, even if it has orbit around one, because the other two attract. Consequently, the distance to the main star should be greater than what is seen.
