Safe illumination lamp
The company Sogexi de Lyon recently presented in France a lamp without risk of getting into the water and electrocuting, which spends less energy and lasts longer than the classic systems.
The induced discharge lamp is the newly drawn one and has two bases to function: induction and high frequency. Based on induction, you can have total safety with the lamp. In the first place, the electric current of the network reaches a box where the electricity becomes magnetic field by means of some coils. The electric network circuit ends here. Outside the box, the magnetic field again generates electric current for the lamp to illuminate, but there is no phase or cable to earth. There is therefore no risk of electrocution.
In the aforementioned box, a generator raises the frequency of 50Hz of the network current up to 30,000 Hz. The bulb has no time to guess the 30,000 voltage variations per second, so its duration is much longer. In addition, chromatic distortions and stroboscopic effects are excluded.
This type of lamps is especially indicated for the illumination of streets and squares. The classic systems incorporate a transformer to the lamp with electrocution risk. In the new system called Induxi, the generator and the coils are wrapped in a resin cap and in a box. The subfloor can be accessed up to 60 meters from the lamp. Therefore, the lamp is completely safe, since the electricity of the network is underground.
