Trying to reduce the influence of changes in light intensity

If suddenly the eye is placed in front of too high light intensity it closes, for example by the flash of the camera. The physiological basis of this response is not well known and is what is intended to be investigated by recording the electrical activity of the largest muscle surrounding the eye. Ian Murray, of the University of Manchester, is investigating and will not be useless work much less.

This is an investigation that can be useful for those who spend all day in front of the computer and especially for night car drivers. Understanding these eye reactions can improve the design of car lights and reduce accidents. In fact, a constant change in light intensity produces the muscle fatigue of the driver's eye.
