The researchers already knew that broccoli sulforaphane and black wine revesratrol play against cancer. They have now shown that these substances give the signal to the body to produce some proteins: Keap1 and Nrf2.
When sulforaphanes or revesratrolalprimen bind the two proteins mentioned. Consequently, the protein-related genes that protect DNA from damage are activated.
