More than 100 species of frog

It is difficult, but that is what they hope to find in the forests of Sri Lanka. With the creation of the Colombo Natural Heritage Research Foundation, Sri Lanka began to study the 750 km2 of rain forest that it still preserves, which once had 15,000 km2, and discovered numerous new species of frog.

From there it is estimated that there are about 120 species. The species found to date have been divided into two groups. In one of them are the eggs in foam nests, in leaves, stones or branches located on the water. The other group places the eggs individually on the leaves and is born frog-shaped.
