The sky in infrared

In the image is trapped all the infrared light emitted throughout the sky. The image, composed of thousands of images of the Akari satellite of the Japanese space agency, is the most complete and accurate in history.

At the center of the image is the Milky Way, whose brightness stands out in its heart is a black hole. The lower right spot of the image is the Great Magellanic Cloud, close to our galaxy.
