Measuring the risks of mobile phones

The three-dimensional working software shows that electromagnetic fields are different depending on the position of the phone.

Thomas Weilland, professor of electronics and computer science at the Technical School of Darmstadt (Germany), has prepared a special computer program. This allows simulating in three dimensions electromagnetic fields of mobile phones. Consequently, devices with fewer “risks” can be designed. There are still doubts about the safety of these phones.

The Australian hospital in Adelaide has been tested with transgenic mice that tended to develop lymphatic cancer. They have remained in the radio frequency waves that have handheld phones and half have become sick from the waves. It will be necessary to see if the waves have the same effect with mice that have no tendency to cancer.
