Small robot

Small robot

R. CARTON

The smallest robot believed to have been invented can be placed on a coin or button and only three of those batteries used for wrist watches are needed to power the two engines that move the ear wheels. Sandia has been created in the military center of the national laboratory and, according to inventors, can be used for works that cannot be performed by larger robots, such as finding and deactivating mines or detecting chemical and biological weapons. But it could also be used for other purposes, such as detecting hazardous gas leaks or detecting human movements between waste.

Although it still has only 8K ROM temperature sensor and microprocessor, from now on it is intended to install a small camera, microphone, communication system and, perhaps, a chemical microsensor.
