According to Jenny Aitken-Christie of the New Zealand Forest Research Institute, the wisdom of Japanese robotics and the agricultural wisdom of New Zealanders can create a robot that takes care of plants.
This idea is not new, but it has not yet succeeded. This robot would be prepared to change many plants, as the labor costs and time of planting bushes and trees are known.
Jenny, along with the Japanese company Toshiba, has built the robot that can be seen in the photo for the different phases that are needed to plant trees. Its price is 18,000,000 pesetas (900,000 pounds).
