The University of Compiegne (France) has presented a mathematical equation showing the pollutants emitted in a river.
At present, the equations that show the path of pollutants are widely used, showing what happens after they are poured into the river. Well, this new equation does the opposite: knowing the consequence seeks its origin.
According to the authors of the equation, only two measures of concentration of pollutants in the water are necessary, one at the beginning and the other at the end of the part of the channel object of study, the rest would be done by the computer.
