NASA, Russian and French from the United States, have joined at the end of this century to push the project to send two 110 kilogram probes to Pluto.
It is advisable to work together, since on the one hand the cost of the project would be reduced from 600 million to 400 million dollars, and on the other hand it would have technical advantages.
The Russians would equip the probes with modules to pose in Pluto and its satellite Txaron. The French would supply an image compression system.
