The Cantabrian sea storm was detected in the Pyrenees

Galarraga Aiestaran, Ana

Elhuyar Zientzia

The strength of the last storm reached the Pyrenees. This is demonstrated by the seismographs of the Geodyn Underground Laboratory. This laboratory is located in Canfrance, where seismographers show that the height of the waves coincides with the amplitude of the seismic waves. Precisely, when there were large waves (in red), the amplitude increased.
