If there are animals that have been slaughtered by man, one is the wolf. In Euskal Herria we have disappeared the wolf, but it has left countless remains of what has been an important part of our fauna in stories, surnames, shields and toponymy. The wolf was in danger of extinction in the Italian Apennine Mountains, but fortunately thanks to the protective measures adopted is advancing and the last census has revealed that currently live around 250 wolves.
In Euskal Herria it would be a pleasure to have this kind of news.
