Blood chip

The electronics multinational Thorm-EMI will soon market a chip that distinguishes all the features of the blood. In carrying out the blood tests, a series of specific pre-established parameters are analyzed. The new chip only visualizes these parameters that are considered normal for the moment and only needs 30 seconds.

Undoubtedly, the most important contribution of the new approach is the speed of the process, but not another. And it is that, unlike what happens so far, anyone can use this chip without having competence to perform blood tests. If the estimated costs are met, the chip will be on sale in 600 pesetas at the beginning of next year.
