Desiccated nuclear

Residents of Sakramento, the California city of California, have decided to close the 918 MW Rancho Seco nuclear power plant by referendum. This is the first case in which it is achieved. 53.4% of voters favored the closure of the central. However, it is considered that economic factors have had a greater weight than ecological ones in favor of the decision to close the plant. In fact, the cost of energy generated by this power plant is twice as normal.

Environmentalists have described the outcome of the Sacramento vote as a great victory. However, the dismantling of the plant poses serious technical and ecological problems. What to do with radioactive waste?
