The debate is not new: some believe that Europeans are descendants of peasants who entered the Middle East 8,000 years ago. Well, after analyzing the mitochondrial DNA of some of those peasants of 7,000 years ago, it is clear that those peasants did not expand much, that is, they did not impose themselves on the hunters gatherers who already lived in Europe. Therefore, on this occasion, the theory that Europeans come from hunters has won a battle.
