American astronomers have measured the mass, size and temperature of two brown dwarfs in the Orio nebula. For this they have analyzed 1,500 photographs collected in the last twelve years.
Brown dwarfs are not stars in particular, they seem to be too small to have fusion reactions, but they are too big to have planets. Those who have researched are young and, according to measurements, have almost the size of the Sun. Therefore, astronomers believe that as age progresses brown dwarfs decrease.
On the other hand, it is observed that the results of the measurements made largely conform to the computer models used to date, so they go in good direction.
