Perseverance manages to take a sample of the soil on Mars.

Ed. NASA/JPL-Caltech

In the image you can see the first sample taken by the Perseverance robotic vehicle from the soil of Mars. This picture was taken on September 6, 2021, and in it you see a titanium tube with the sample inside before you put the cap and seal it.

Sampling has been a great achievement. The first attempts failed, and now they've tried another kind of rock. They have finally achieved the goal of collecting and conserving the sample so that on a future mission, another ship picks it up and brings it to Earth for in-depth study. They want to answer the question. Has there ever been any life on Mars?
