Current adapts to climate

Through the records of the ancient climate, they have seen how the Atlantic current adapted to the climate changes of the northern hemisphere, through the amount of
water that
goes from the southern hemisphere to the north. According to experts from the Autonomous University of Barcelona and the University of Cardiff, there is a regulatory mechanism between both hemispheres.

Thanks to this study, they have begun to see how the behavior of the Atlantic Ocean changes as a result of climate change.

According to the data obtained, when the northern hemisphere was heated, the current flowing from the southern hemisphere to the north provided less deep water and, on the contrary, the flow of the current increased as the northern hemisphere cooled.

They say the Atlantic is still acting similarly today and is adapting to global warming.
