The large financial resources consider that the multimedia field is very appropriate to make their investments for its high profitability. They drive big projects, but sometimes you have to wait longer than expected until the results materialize. Time Warner, for example, has announced in Orlando, Florida, USA that its project will have a minimum delay of six months. The project consists of installing an interactive television in 4,000 homes, but neither hardware nor software will be ready.
It must be said that Warner's announcement came shortly before the relationship between the Bell telephony company and the TCI company broke, and that the union of these two large companies should give a major boost to the information highway field.
