India fails to launch Vikram module
If mission 2 had gone well in Chandraya, India would become the fourth country to put a ship on the Moon, after the US, Russia and China. Via the Vikram module: In Chandraya it had to let go of 2 boats, adjust the speed and land on the surface of the Moon. However, when it was 2 km from the Moon, the main engine failed, communication was cut off and launched against the Moon.
Chandrayaan 2 is the continuation of the Chandrayaan 1 mission. The first one reached the orbit of the Moon in 2008 and, with the data collected, completed a topographic map of the Moon.
