NASA researchers have seen the Lunar South Pole better than ever thanks to Goldstone Solar System Radar. These images will analyze the topography of this area of the Moon, distinguishing between flat and mountainous areas. This will allow to develop robots explorers suitable for shipment to the Moon, adapted to the topography. In addition, they can look for suitable spaces for future bases that can be built on the Moon. This area is always shaded, and in some of its craters there is eternal ice -- it can be an important resource.
