Hazardous waste

Every day in the world more than a million tons of hazardous waste are generated and not all are dignified correctly. Cleaning the contaminated site after burial costs a lot. Norway, for example, estimates that in its day it carried out 7,000 discharges and that to properly treat these hazardous waste would require between 3 and 6 billion dollars.

In the United States, for their part, they have accumulated many more hazardous waste and their treatment would amount to 750 billion dollars, which is three-quarters of the annual budget of the federal government.
