Rubber Metals Rubber

Hard, stable at temperature, elastic and flexible. All these properties coincide in the metallic alloy developed in the Japanese house Toyota. It consists of titanium, zirconium, vanadium, niobium, tantalum and a little oxygen, with properties that do not have metal alloys.

Pressed 2,5 times, it recovers the original size and when stretching it expands 20% before breaking. This has given him the title of superelastic that will allow him to adapt without heating.

In addition to resisting pressure, it has very good properties to withstand temperature. The heating hardly propagates and maintains the flexibility. The alloy retains these properties between 194 and 200ºC. All this is not little and is twice as robust as steel.
