Rapid human evolution in genes
01/03/2008 | Elhuyar

There are genes that move faster than others. According to a theory, the human being has adapted to the great migrations towards new environments. But for this theory to be correct, there are mutations that have had to happen very quickly. A team of French and Spanish researchers confirmed this idea. In the last 60,000 years, 582 genes have been identified that have rapidly changed, including many related to skin color and protection against many diseases.
