RNA gene silencing

RNA inhibits the expression of certain genes. In very few cases this inhibition has been confirmed, specifically in eight, but biologists are satisfied because lately they are discovering many of the unknown functions of RNA. Normally metabolites inhibit the expression of genes, but in some cases RNA also does messenger. At the moment, these cases have been identified in bacteria, fungi and plants, and now biologists want to investigate if it is possible to find them in animals.
