Fuel Input Robot

Today robots are mainly used in automobile manufacturing, but will soon also supply fuel for cars without the driver moving from his seat.

The main objective of the BMW delivery robot has been safety.

The main objective of the BMW delivery robot has been safety. Future fuels will be explosive: by the end of this year natural gas, compressed natural gas increasingly liquefied. Finally, at the beginning of the next millennium hydrogen will be used as fuel.

The driver of the car will only need to enter the chip card and mark its code. The card tells the robot the type of vehicle, the location of the tank and the fuel to supply. Guided by two lasers, the robot extends its arm, opens the tank and connects a cylindrical device.

Enter the end of the tube and fill the tank. Once all this is done, it performs the reverse operation and is ready to supply the next customer. The duration of the operation is 2-4 minutes.
