Women and breast cancer

Women who consume estrogens after menopause are at risk of developing breast cancer.

Doctors from Brigham and Boston have followed 121,700 women for ten years. When using estrogens after menopause to develop breast cancer, they are at a higher risk of 30% 40%. However, according to these researchers, the advantages of the hormone are considerably greater than the risks. Specifically, through estrogens, women better control “hot flashes” and decalcification.
