The Tecnalia Technology Corporation and the Valencia Biomechanical Institute (IBV) have designed tailor-made solutions to improve the adaptation of prosthesis for cut legs.

They have designed by computer a custom lace that connects the prosthesis with the foot of the patient. To do this, they analyze the geometry of the patient's foot with a laser scanner. The results obtained in the scanner allow to manufacture a lace that adapts to the patilla of the patient.

This custom lace has successfully passed the lace tests. In short, mechanical resistance will be measured according to the current regulations.
