A private spacecraft travels for the first time to the ISS space station. This is the Dragon freighter of the company SpaceX, which will now be a test trip. It is a project supported by NASA that aims to replace Dragon and other private boats to the ferries that have already retired.

The Falcon 9 rocket will transport the Dragon capsule to its exit from the atmosphere. From then on, the capsule will fly alone to the ISS. You will be greeted by a robotic arm of the ISS that will help you connect with the station laboratory. The ISS astronauts will take the load. Then he will return to Earth. It has been planned that the Dragon capsule was to be launched on April 30 from Cape Canaveral, but in order to perform some last minute tests the launch has been delayed to May 3.

The test flight will be unmanned and 1,181 kilos of cargo will carry the ISS, 660 kilos will return to Earth. The designer Elon M of SpaceX assures that within three years they will manage to send the manned mission to the ISS. But the current flight is the first step you have to take for it.
