CO2 emissions significantly increase

CO2 emissions from fossil fuels and cement production are growing rapidly. According to the latest data from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, carbon dioxide emissions have increased by 3.5% between 2000 and 2007. Estimates predicted growth of 2.7%. At present, China is the country that emits more carbon dioxide, and responsible for 21% of the global emissions. The United States ranks second.
