CAMOBI: Ecological house

A Biscayan company is building an ecological house in the Sierra de Gata de Cáceres using only “clean” materials and energies. The building is a detached house built with natural and recycled materials, modular and bioclimatic.

The modular word can be divided into parts, that is, it can be assembled and disassembled by parts and has no foundations, no electrical lines, no septic tanks. This allows to transport the house from one side to the other and that the land used is in good condition.

The house is also bioclimatic, that is, designed to take full advantage of renewable energy sources and maintain maximum heat inside. Solar panels, greenhouses and insulating materials will be used to make significant energy savings, according to project director Javier García Rueda. Among the main peculiarities, it is worth mentioning that the organic waste of the home will be destined to the fertilization of the garden or garden.
