Search engines increasingly lost

Although search engines have contributed to increasing access to World Wide Web information, they have not been able to respond to the enormous development of the Internet.

The growth has caused search engines to have lost effectiveness since 1997 and to only index 16% of pages that are currently public. In this way they index the pages with more links oriented to them, that is, those that have achieved a greater attraction; in short, the USA (United States) and commercial, to the detriment of non-Americans and / or educational.
