The image man is not protecting his eyes from the sun, no. He is watching television. The British Willy Johnson has invented glasses called goggle vox. They are liquid crystal glasses and you can see images from television, the magnetoscope or the video game console. These glasses, including their stereo speakers, weigh 450 grams.
These are two liquid crystal screens, basically covered by a thin layer, each facing an eye. The image increases like a magnifying glass, but without highlighting the pixels.
Since the glasses offer a different image to each eye, it is possible to watch films in relief. To do this, the video source must broadcast two signals that are not given on television systems. However, in video games, the creation of embossed games does not seem so difficult.
These new glasses will cost between 6,000 and 80,000 pesetas (3,000 and 4,000 pounds).
