A new machine consists of building a new roadway with materials from the old roadway. This itinerant paving workshop consists of two units: ARC 600 (performs most of the work) and ARC Dance (mix and spread of materials). The latter has a volumetric pump that combines water, additives and materials from the old road. The proportion of water and new additives is only 4-6%.
The ARC 600 attacks the old causeway and through a strawberry with tungsten carbide teeth raises the causeway up to 33 cm. Then, this broken material passes between steel bars to be more chopped. The remains and additives of the old causeway are subsequently mixed in a kneader.
The material extends on the base of the old roadway and is applauded with a sheet. To fit properly to the level of the bases of the old road, a hydraulic system is used.
The filming layer will then be extended through conventional procedures, that is, with conventional equipment, so that the track is complete.
Through this procedure it is possible to cover between 30 and 50% the renewal of the road.
