Primatologists working at Brazil's National Amazon Study Institute have discovered two new species of monkeys.
Both are titis monkeys. They are the size of a small cat and live in tropical jungles of South America. At the moment, 28 breast species are known in the Amazon basin. The new species have been declared Callicebus bernhardi and Callicebus stephennanshi.
The first, with the beards of the ear, the chest and the inside of the extremities, is dark orange, red-brown back and black tail with white tip. The second silver color, with black front and red beards, chest and inside extremities.
