A group of North American and Russian chemists have created elements of atomic numbers 115 and 113. With these two elements a total of one hundred and sixteen are known. To obtain these elements, the americium was bombed with calcium atoms. The four 115 elements thus created survived 90 milliseconds and became 113 elements. This second element lasted 1.2 seconds, sufficient for its chemical utility, according to the researchers. However, to ensure the discovery, the experiment will be repeated in other laboratories.
