The Robotiker-Tecnalia technology center will conduct a study of new photovoltaic modules with vaulted structure. These modules, produced by Japanese companies Kyosemi Corporation, have been studied by Robotiker-Tecnalia thanks to the agreement signed last December.
These innovative modules have three dimensions that make them receive more sunlight than existing systems, so they have greater power generation capacity. However, the product is under investigation.
Robotiker-Tecnalia will analyze the tension and intensity curves of these new modules for different levels of solar radiation, as well as tilt and shadow problems. These studies will draw conclusions to improve these modules, always in order to improve the efficiency of the systems of hundreds of modules.
