To explain when the boar was domesticated in Europe, three hypotheses predominated: The pig was brought from the Middle East, from where they used to domesticate and was self-domesticated by Europeans. Thus, hundreds of genetic analyses have been carried out to compare the DNA of the old pigs and boars with the current one, and the result has not ruled out any hypotheses, but the three were given.
