We are losing the forest treasure
Currently, 250,000 plant species of forests and tropical forests are recognized with therapeutic properties, of which almost a third is treated as treatment in Europe. However, the “harvest” of forests is in the pants, according to recent studies. A group of biologists has announced the total disappearance of 60,000 plant species over the next 30 years if the trend remains so far.
According to these forecasts, among the plant species to be lost there would be many remedies. The research has also analyzed the solutions, according to which it would be enough to invest $ 8 billion annually in the next five years to ensure the survival of the forest treasury. Although it may seem a lot, this sum is only a grain of sand if we compare it with what could be lost forever.
